One day guided tour to discover the highest mountain in southern Tuscany: the Monte Amiata! Monte Amiata is a dormant volcano, the highest in Italy at 1736 meters (5700 feet), and offer continuous forest, chestnut trees and beautiful views over the Val d'Orcia.
The bike ride start from the beautiful town of Bagno Vignoni, warm up in the first easy kilometers and it's time to reach the top of the mountain after 26 kilometers climb. Don't worry, after each climb there is always a descent! The second part of the tour will lead you to Seggiano and Castiglione d'Orcia after a long and beautiful descent.
