This small wine-region produces one of the best-known and appreciated wines: the Chianti Classico Wine. Wine has been produced in this area for over 2000 years, since Etruscan time.
A local guide will lead you to discover all the secret of this wonderful region and taste Chianti Classico wine during the bike ride.

Day 1 - Benvenuti nel Chianti!
Individual arrival at Radda in Chianti, meet and greet with our staff, briefing to explain the bike tour in Chianti.
Dinner and accommodation in 4 stars hotel.

Day 2 - Gaiole in Chianti, Castello di Brolio and Eroica
54 km – Elevation gain: 1050 meters
Breakfast and start of the first bike tour with expert bike guide.
Gaiole in Chianti, town of L’Eroica, vintage race that bring in Chianti region more than 8000 cyclists.
Castello di Brolio, with its cypress-lined entrance. The breath-taking panorama below the walls, over the vineyards, represents one of the most wonderful parts of the first stage. We'll visit the Castle's garden and chapel, owned by the Ricasoli family since 1141.
The road to Radda in Chianti will be a sequence of vineyards and woods, passing through pretty villages and farms, that could offer you a wide range of typical products, wine and olive oil tasting.
Before to come back in hotel we'll stop in a Chianti winery for a wine tour and tasting with light lunch.

Day 3 - Castellina in Chianti, Badia a Passignano and Panzano in Chianti
55 km – Elevation gain: 980 meters
Daily tour to discover the north side of Chianti region between Florence and Radda in Chianti.
Castellina in Chianti, interesting medieval town of Etruscan origins and one of the most charming hilltop villages in the Chianti.
Badia a Passignano, an historic Benedictine abbey located atop a scenic hilltop, surrounded by cypresses.
Panzano in Chianti and the church of San Leolino, one of the most important Romanesque churches of the Chianti area. Panzano in Chianti is also well-known for the famous butcher Dario Cecchini and his Fiorentina steak.
Wine tour and tasting in a local winery and lunch before the final part of the stage.
Back to the hotel in the afternoon and individual departure.
